I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the University of the Free State and am a Certified Financial Planner®. I’m a member of the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa (FPI) – the leading independent professional body for financial planners in South Africa. In 2013, I served on the FPI’s Technical Committee related to the Practice Standards Guideline Workgroup. In 2014 and 2015, I was selected to be a member of the FPI Tax Competency Committee. I received further specialised training in retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning, compliance and insurance law under the mentorship of Paul Rabinowitz (AIF®, CFP®, CIPM, FIFM, FPSA®, GFS™, M.Inst.D, RF™).
