My name is Charize, and I am a Certified Financial Planner, Professional Accountant, and Registered Tax Practitioner.

With over a decade of experience in the financial industry, I am passionate about helping individuals and families achieve financial freedom and reach their financial goals.

I chose financial planning because I believe everyone deserves to feel confident and secure about their financial future. Guiding my clients toward building wealth, protecting their assets, and creating sustainable plans is my passion.

Outside of work, I enjoy immersing myself in a good book and spending time outdoors. I’m currently exploring mountain biking as a new hobby and look forward to the adventures it will bring.

I’m a junior financial advisor at Brenthurst Wealth and have been in the financial services industry since 2015, working as a liaison between financial advisers and clients assisting in all duties related to financial planning. I hold a BCom Economics degree from the North-West University Potchefstroom Campus, a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the University of the Free State, and am a Certified Financial Planner®. As a member of the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa (FPI), I’m fully qualified to advise clients on all investment matters.

Being fully qualified to provide advice on all investment matters, I joined the Brenthurst Pretoria team in April 2015 and am a Certified Financial Planner® with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry. My qualifications are a BCom in Investment Management, a BCom (Honours) in Financial Management from the University of Pretoria and a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the University of the Free State. I’m also a member of the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa (FPI).
