I am the founding director of Stone Wealth Management, one of South Africa’s leading and most trusted independently owned wealth management practices.

I started my career as an attorney in a large law firm in Pietermaritzburg and later joined Old Mutual (the largest life assurance company in SA) as a legal advisor. In 2000 I joined Nedgroup Investments as an Accounts Manager specialising in Investments.

I left the corporate world to build one of the first truly advised based practices in South Africa as opposed to a typical commission-driven sales business.

I hold the following qualifications: BSocSci; LLB; LLM (Masters in Taxation); Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning, specialising in Asset Types and Investment Instruments as well as Estate Planning. I hold a Certified Financial Planner ® designation – the highest qualification level for advisers. I am also a member of The Fiduciary Institute of South Africa FISA™
